Luis F Prato

Founder

Doctor Luis has been a Physical Therapist for 27 years and has a lifelong commitment to learning. He received a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy at Universidad Industrial de Santander, in Colombia in 1995 and has been invited to come back several times to give courses at the University. He was honored as a “distinguished alumni” in 2019.

Luis has a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in Musculoskeletal Management through and a Evidence in Motion Institutes of Health Professions. Luis has a long list of certifications and is one of the few board specialists in Northwest Indiana.

His certifications include:

  • American Physical Therapy Association, Certified Clinical Instructor

Dr Prato is a member of American Academy of Sports Physical Therapy, the American Academy of Orthopedic Physical Therapist, the American Physical Therapy Association, the International Federation of Sports Physical Therapy and the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He is also a continued education instructor in Spain through ECUFIS, and an editorial board member of Sports Medicine – Open Journal.

Luis is well known in Northwest Indiana as “Coach Prato“ after many years of couching int the soccer league with the USSF National Youth license, and is still currently involved in the soccer community by offering injury prevention or speed agility programs. Doctor Luis is also a family man and enjoys spending time with his wife Yiriz and his daughters Natalia and Gabriela.

Gloria Arteaga

Founder

Gloria has been practicing Physical Therapy for over 30 years, she received a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy at Universidad del Rosario in Colombia in 1991 and earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Utica University in New York.

Gloria has extensive knowledge of orthopedic and neurologic conditions and treatments. She is certified in MDT (Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment) for spine and extremities.

She is also an adjunct professor at Indiana University Northwest School of Medicine. Her attention to detail and dedication to her craft has made her a popular physical therapist and beloved amongst her patients. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
